Yoga is not only about a person sitting on a meditation pillow chanting AUM nor is it about doing a fancy pose. ( Eventhough I do like the fancy poses )
There is more to yoga than the Instagram version.
Most people don’t realize this, but your body is doing yoga every time you unclench your jaw or exhale a little longer than your inhale.
1. Breathe before you react- or simply step away, give yourself time to settle the nervous system, don’t underestimate the power of silence and breath.
Pausing gives your nervous system a chance to reset.
Prevents reactive decisions or arguments.

2. Patience and Persistence are key to mastering anything.
NO quick FIX- I promise
Small daily actions compound into big results.

3. Be yourself, everyone else is taken
Authenticity is more powerful than imitation.
Identify one thing you usually hide to fit in and express it today.

4. Self-Study. Learn about yourself – this is the best way to achieve personal growth
Helps choose activities, habits, and people that serve you.
Spend 10 minutes journaling: “What made me feel alive this week?”

5. Don’t overthink, you have no idea what’s going to happen next and neither does anyone else.
The future is uncertain for everyone.
Next time your mind spirals, ask: “What is the next small action I can take?”

6. Be conscious- of what you say think it through.
Improves relationships and self-respect.

7. Be grateful if things don’t work out the way you wanted them too, at least you tried. Teach your heart to accept disappointment
Disappointment is your teacher.
Reduces resentment and bitterness.

8. Understand that when it feels great it will also feel bad, you want to be at peace regardless of how you feel.
Reduces emotional turbulence.
Being grounded doesn’t mean ignoring feelings; it means riding them calmly.
When a strong emotion arises, silently repeat: “This too is temporary.”

9. Trust your intuition, you don’t need to explain
Inner guidance is valid, even without external approval.
Reduces over-reliance on validation.

10. Forgive others not for them but for you, it’s okay to let go. It does not mean that you are less than.
Forgiveness is self-liberation, not approval of wrongdoing.
Letting go empowers you; it’s strength, not weakness.
Identify someone you’re holding resentment toward. Mentally say: “I release this for my own peace.”
